Performance characteristics
The LG9000 water-based adhesive is meticulously tailored for floor decoration materials, ideal for those demanding high elasticity and robust curing features, such as wood flooring, SPC, WPC, and LVT. It excels as a wet-bond, pressure-sensitive adhesive on pre-treated absorbent substrates, offering the versatility needed for modern flooring projects. Plus, it serves as a premier gap-filling, pressure-sensitive adhesive for non-absorbent substrates or existing flooring, albeit within specific bounds.
For non-absorbent substrates, the LG9000 allows flooring installation 20-50 minutes post-application, demonstrating long-lasting adhesion, formidable peel and shear strength, alongside a rapid and high-strength cure. A solid, smooth, dry, crack-free, and dust-free substrate is essential. For surfaces that are uneven, rough, dusty, or non-absorbent, pre-treat using LG180 Substrate Hardener or the LG670 Non-Absorbent Interface Agent, which is vital in averting any substrate debonding.
Installation Instructions
For optimal wood flooring installation, employ a B11 notched trowel, tailor-made for wood flooring adhesives, and ensure to replace the notched bar every 100 square meters. The open time is contingent upon the adhesive quantity applied, prevailing climate conditions, and the substrate's absorption rate. Recognize that the adhesive is primed for use once it starts forming strings.
For SPC, WPC, and LVT wet bonding, a B1 notched trowel is recommended, with bar replacement every 100 square meters. Install the flooring as the adhesive begins stringing, guaranteeing adherence and optimal transfer to the flooring's back. Use a roller across the installed surface, coupled with a cork board for pressing edges and corners to eliminate dead spots, ensuring complete bonding with the adhesive. A second rolling is advised 20 minutes later. Adhere to Lan Guan's technical instructions for best results.
