THICKNESS

The versatile k12 accommodates a range of application thicknesses, extending from a precise 8mm up to a robust 30mm in a single, seamless coat.
Please note: For creating an impressive 2cm-3cm thick layer, the K12 formulation requires the addition of 8kg of premium quartz sand to enhance its strength and durability.

SUBFLOOR PREPARATION

1. Begin by thoroughly eliminating any oil stains, dust, loose debris, and outdated coatings from the surface to ensure a pristine foundation.

2. Expertly sand the uneven ground to meticulously remove loose concrete and unwanted impurities, creating a smooth and clean surface.

3. In cases of leaks, promptly utilize a leak-stopper to efficiently seal them, guaranteeing a dry and water-free ground. Note: For optimal outcomes in summer outdoor projects, moisten the ground initially and allow the surface to dry before commencing construction.

4. For substrates with high absorption properties, it is advisable to apply LG660 water-based absorbent interface treatment agent. Conversely, for non-absorbent substrates, using LG670 non-absorbent interface agent is recommended for effective treatment.

WATER-TO-INGREDIENT RATIO

Water to mortar ratio: 22%

APPLICATION

1. To embark on this transformative repair journey, begin by meticulously cleaning the repair area. This ensures the floor is pristine and devoid of any dust, debris, or oil stains, thereby providing a flawless working canvas for subsequent construction.

2. Following the preparation of the base surface, apply a uniform layer of primer. Depending on the surface conditions, apply 1-2 coats. Allow ample time for the primer to dry completely, setting the stage for the next step.

3. To achieve the perfect mix, adhere to the precise ratio: start by pouring 5L of water into a mixing container. Gradually introduce 25kg of repair mortar while mixing diligently with a mixer to achieve a smooth, cohesive blend.

4. Pour this expertly mixed material onto the designated repair area. With precision, use a trowel to spread it evenly, ensuring an immaculate, smooth surface. Follow this by employing a roller to meticulously debubble and eradicate any surface bubbles for a flawless finish.

IMPORTANT NOTES

1. For optimal application, ensure that the ambient temperature during construction is maintained between 5ºC and 30ºC. When working outdoors, it is advisable to avoid direct sunlight to maintain material efficacy; construction should be paused during rainy weather for best results.

2. Adhere strictly to the water addition ratio as specified in the product manual. Deviation from the recommended water ratio, whether excessive or insufficient, could compromise the self-leveling compound's performance.

3. Apply the mixed self-leveling compound within 20 minutes to prevent premature solidification, which would render the material unusable and could lead to inefficiencies.

4. Exercise caution during the application process to avoid accidental contact with the material, which could splash into the eyes or onto the skin, necessitating immediate safety measures.

5. During the vital curing period, ensure the surface remains undisturbed by heavy objects and is not exposed to water to maintain structural integrity.


TRANSPORTATION

For safe storage, keep the product in a dry, ventilated, and cool environment, away from both direct sunlight and moisture. During transportation, handle with care to prevent packaging damage by avoiding collisions and compression.
