This versatile adhesive is ideal for use as a wet-bond, pressure-sensitive adhesive on pre-treated absorbent substrates. Its adaptability extends to utilize as a gap-filling and pressure-sensitive adhesive on non-absorbent substrates or existing flooring, though usage should be limited.
When applying LG9000 on non-absorbent substrates, the flooring can be installed between 20-50 minutes after application. Revel in the benefits of long-lasting adhesion, robust peel and shear strength, rapid curing, and substantial curing strength. For optimal results, ensure that the substrate is solid, smooth, dry, crack-free, and dust-free. For surfaces that are uneven, rough, dusty, or non-absorbent, pre-treatment with LG180 Substrate Hardener or LG670 Non-Absorbent Interface Agent is essential to prevent debonding of the substrate.
Installation Instructions
For the flawless installation of wood flooring, employ a B11 notched trowel specifically designed for wood flooring adhesives. Replace the notched bar every 100 square meters for maximum efficiency. Calculate the open time by considering the adhesive amount, climate conditions, and substrate absorption rate. The adhesive is ready for use when it begins to form strings, signaling optimal adherence.
For wet bonding of SPC, WPC, or LVT flooring, a B1 notched trowel is recommended. Replace the notched bar every 100 square meters to maintain performance. Initiate the installation as the adhesive starts forming strings, ensuring effective adherence to the floor and proper transfer to the back of the flooring. During installation, roll the entire surface with a roller, press the edges and corners using a cork board. This guarantees a level, seamlessly bonded surface. After 20 minutes, repeat the rolling to enhance the bond. Adhere to the technical instructions provided by Lan Guan to achieve the best results.
