The LG9000 water-based adhesive is an innovative solution perfect for high-performance floor decoration materials. It is expertly designed for applications requiring exceptional elasticity and robust curing properties, making it ideal for wood flooring, SPC, WPC, and LVT applications. This versatile adhesive is also perfect for use as a wet-bond, pressure-sensitive adhesive on well-prepared absorbent substrates. Furthermore, it can be utilized as a gap-filling and pressure-sensitive adhesive on non-absorbent substrates or even existing flooring, albeit to a limited extent, showcasing its impressive adaptability.
When applied to non-absorbent substrates, the adhesive allows for flooring installation 20-50 minutes post-application, ensuring a seamless process. It boasts long-lasting adhesion with strong peel and shear strength, featuring fast curing and robust curing strength. For optimal results, your substrate should be solid, smooth, dry, free of cracks, and dust-free. In scenarios involving uneven, rough, dusty, or non-absorbent substrates, it is crucial to pre-treat the surface with LG180 Substrate Hardener or LG670 Non-Absorbent Interface Agent. This pre-treatment is essential to prevent substrate debonding, ensuring the longevity and reliability of your flooring installation.
Installation Instructions
For a flawless wood flooring installation, we recommend using a B11 notched trowel specifically engineered for wood flooring adhesive. Ensure the notched bar is replaced every 100 square meters to maintain optimal performance. Carefully determine the open time according to the amount of adhesive applied, prevailing climate conditions, and substrate absorption rate. You will know the adhesive is ready for use once it begins to form strings, indicating its perfect consistency for application.
This adhesive is also superb for the wet bonding of SPC, WPC, and LVT flooring. It is advisable to utilize a B1 notched trowel and ensure the notched bar is replaced every 100 square meters for consistent application. Commence flooring installation as soon as the adhesive starts stringing, guaranteeing effective adhesion to both the floor and the back of the flooring. During installation, roll the entire surface with a roller and use a cork board to press the edges and corners thoroughly. This ensures the entire installed surface is flawlessly pressed flat, allowing the flooring to achieve a full bond with the adhesive. Repeat the rolling process after 20 minutes to reinforce this bond. Adherence to the technical instructions provided by Lan Guan is essential for achieving optimal results.
