Designed to meet the demands of high elasticity and robust curing, the LG9000 water-based adhesive is a versatile choice for floor decoration materials such as wood flooring, SPC, WPC, and LVT. Its flexibility extends to use as a wet-bond and pressure-sensitive adhesive on pre-treated absorbent substrates, ensuring a seamless application. Additionally, it serves as an excellent gap-filling and pressure-sensitive solution for non-absorbent substrates or existing flooring, albeit in a limited capacity.
For non-absorbent substrates, the LG9000 adhesive allows for flooring installation between 20 to 50 minutes post-application, showcasing its remarkable long-lasting adhesion. Its superior peel and shear strength, coupled with a swift curing time and formidable curing strength, make it indispensable. To achieve optimal results, ensure the substrate is solid, smooth, dry, crack-free, and devoid of dust. With uneven, rough, dusty, or non-absorbent bases, pre-treatment is crucial: use LG180 Substrate Hardener or LG670 Non-Absorbent Interface Agent to avert any risk of substrate debonding.
Installation Instructions
For a flawless wood flooring experience, the use of a B11 notched trowel designed specifically for wood flooring adhesive is advised. It is imperative to replace the notched bar every 100 square meters to maintain precision. The open time is contingent upon adhesive quantity, climate variables, and substrate absorption rates. The adhesive reaches readiness when it begins to form strings, signifying its prime bonding state.
When dealing with SPC, WPC, or LVT floors, a B1 notched trowel is recommended for wet bonding. Like before, replace the notched bar every 100 square meters. Install the flooring as soon as the adhesive begins stringing, ensuring optimal adhesion and transfer to the flooring's underside. During installation, roll the completed surface uniformly with a roller, and utilize a cork board to press edges and corners meticulously. This ensures the entire surface bonds seamlessly, eliminating any dead spots. Re-roll after 20 minutes for enhanced bonding adherence.
