Performance characteristics
Introducing the remarkable LG9000 water-based adhesive, designed explicitly to address the demands of high-performance floor decoration materials. Perfectly suited for installations requiring exceptional elasticity and superior curing properties, it's an ideal choice for wood flooring, SPC, WPC, and LVT. This versatile adhesive not only excels in wet-bond, pressure-sensitive applications on pre-treated absorbent substrates but also showcases its innate adaptability as a gap-filling, pressure-sensitive solution for certain non-absorbent substrates or existing flooring.
On non-absorbent substrates, take advantage of its swift adaptability, with flooring installation possible just 20-50 minutes post-application. Experience long-lasting, resilient adhesion characterized by impressive peel and shear strength, rapid curing abilities, and formidable curing strength. Ensure your substrate is solid, smooth, dry, crack-free, and dust-free for optimal results. For tricky surfaces such as uneven, rough, or dusty non-absorbent substrates, pre-treating with LG180 Substrate Hardener or LG670 Non-Absorbent Interface Agent is recommended. This crucial step prevents substrate debonding, ensuring a flawless finish.
Installation Instructions
For an impeccable wood flooring installation, we recommend employing a B11 notched trowel, tailored specifically for wood flooring adhesives. It's vital to replace the notched bar after every 100 square meters to maintain efficiency. Determine the open time by considering the adhesive quantity, prevailing climate conditions, and substrate absorption rate. You'll know the adhesive is primed for use when it starts to form strings, indicating it's ready to bond.
When employing this adhesive for wet bonding SPC, WPC, or LVT flooring, opt for a B1 notched trowel. As with wood flooring, replace the notched bar every 100 square meters to ensure continued performance quality. Begin laying the flooring as the adhesive begins stringing, securing effective adhesion and thorough transfer to the flooring's back surface. Once installed, roll the entire surface with a roller and use a cork board to press edges and corners, ensuring a uniformly flat surface free of any dead spots. This ensures a perfect bond between the floor and adhesive. Repeat rolling after 20 minutes for the best results. Adherence to Lan Guan's technical instructions will maximize performance and ensure a lasting installation.
