Performance characteristics
Introducing the LG9000 water-based adhesive, your go-to solution for floor decoration materials that demand exceptional elasticity and superior curing properties. Ideal for a variety of flooring types, including wood flooring, SPC, WPC, and LVT, this adhesive is perfect for professionals who seek high-quality results. Not only is it suitable for use as a wet-bond, pressure-sensitive adhesive on pre-treated absorbent substrates, but it also excels as a gap-filling adhesive on non-absorbent substrates or existing flooring. Its versatility makes it an indispensable product for modern flooring applications.
Experience the remarkable features of our adhesive when applied on non-absorbent substrates. With the freedom to install flooring 20-50 minutes after application, it offers long-lasting adhesion, robust peel and shear strength, rapid curing, and enduring curing strength. The substrate must be solid, smooth, dry, crack-free, and free of dust. For surfaces that are uneven, rough, dusty, or non-absorbent, a pre-treatment with LG180 Substrate Hardener or LG670 Non-Absorbent Interface Agent is recommended to ensure optimal bonding and prevent substrate debonding.
Installation Instructions
For a flawless wood flooring installation, we highly recommend using a B11 notched trowel designed specifically for wood flooring adhesive applications. To maintain efficiency, replace the notched bar every 100 square meters. The open time for the adhesive should be determined by considering the adhesive amount, prevailing climate conditions, and the substrate's absorption rate. You will know the adhesive is ready when it begins to form strings, ensuring optimal bonding.
Additionally, when using the adhesive for wet bonding of SPC, WPC, and LVT flooring, a B1 notched trowel is recommended, with notched bar replacements every 100 square meters. Start installing the flooring once the adhesive forms strings, ensuring complete adhesion to the floor and transfer to the flooring's back. It's crucial to roll the entire surface thoroughly with a roller and use a cork board to press along the edges and corners. This ensures the installed surface is entirely pressed flat without any dead spots, allowing the flooring to bond perfectly with the adhesive. A second rolling after 20 minutes enhances the bond.
