Performance characteristics
The LG9000 water-based adhesive from Shanghai Languan New Building Materials Co., Ltd is the quintessential solution for modern-day floor decoration needs. Specifically designed for materials that demand superior elasticity and robust curing, such as wood flooring, SPC, WPC, and LVT, this adhesive is engineered to perform. It excels as a wet-bond, pressure-sensitive adhesive on substrates that have been pre-treated and exhibit absorbency. Moreover, it can serve as an exceptional gap-filling and pressure-sensitive adhesive on non-absorbent substrates or even on existing flooring surfaces, albeit to a limited extent.
When dealing with non-absorbent substrates, flooring installation can commence 20-50 minutes post adhesive application. This remarkable adhesive boasts enduring adhesion properties, exceptional peel and shear strength, as well as rapid curing capabilities paired with formidable curing strength. A prerequisite for achieving optimal results is that the substrate must be solid, smooth, dry, and devoid of cracks and dust. In scenarios where substrates are uneven, rough, dusty, or non-absorbent, it is imperative to pre-treat the surface using LG180 Substrate Hardener or LG670 Non-Absorbent Interface Agent, thereby preventing any risk of substrate debonding.
Installation Instructions
To ensure flawless wood flooring installation, utilizing a B11 notched trowel specifically crafted for wood flooring adhesive is highly recommended. The notched bar should be replaced after covering every 100 square meters to maintain efficacy. The open time should be determined by considering the quantity of adhesive applied, prevailing climate conditions, and the substrate's absorption rate. You'll know the adhesive is primed for use when it begins to string, indicating its readiness to bond.
For the meticulous installation of SPC, WPC, and LVT flooring, employing a B1 notched trowel is advised, with a timely replacement of the notched bar every 100 square meters. Installation should commence when the adhesive starts to form strings, ensuring an impeccable bond as the adhesive transfers effectively to the back of the flooring. During installation, it is crucial to roll the entire surface with precision, utilizing a roller and a cork board to press the edges and corners. This guarantees that the flooring is pressed flat, eliminating any dead spots, thus achieving a seamless bond. A follow-up rolling session 20 minutes later is necessary. Adherence to Lan Guan's technical instructions will ensure optimal results.
