On non-absorbent substrates, timing is key-allow 20 to 50 minutes after adhesive application before installing the flooring. This adhesive boasts enduring adhesion, impressive peel and shear strength, rapid curing, and formidable curing strength. Ensure the substrate is solid, smooth, dry, crack-free, and immaculate. For uneven, rough, dusty, or non-absorbent substrates, pre-treatment is crucial with LG180 Substrate Hardener or LG670 Non-Absorbent Interface Agent, safeguarding against substrate debonding.
Installation Instructions
For wood flooring installations, we recommend the precision of a B11 notched trowel tailored specifically for wood flooring adhesive. Ensure optimal performance by replacing the notched bar after every 100 square meters. Assess the open time based on factors such as the volume of adhesive applied, prevailing climate conditions, and substrate absorption rate. The adhesive's readiness is indicated when it begins forming strings, a sign of its optimal bonding potential.
In the wet bonding of SPC, WPC, and LVT floors, the use of a B1 notched trowel is advised, with bar replacement every 100 square meters to maintain effectiveness. Begin floor installation when the adhesive begins forming strings, ensuring its effective transfer onto the floor's reverse side. During installation, it's crucial to roll the entire surface with a roller, using a cork board to firmly press edges and corners. This ensures the surface is uniformly pressed flat, achieving complete adhesion. Make sure to re-roll after 20 minutes. Adherence to the technical instructions provided by Lan Guan is essential for optimal results.
