Performance characteristics
The LG9000 Water-Based Adhesive is the epitome of versatility and reliability, skillfully engineered to meet the demands of modern flooring materials that require both elevated elasticity and robust curing properties. Whether your project involves elegant wood flooring or innovative SPC, WPC, and LVT materials, this adhesive rises to the occasion. Designed to be a true multi-tasker, it excels as a wet-bond, pressure-sensitive adhesive on pre-treated absorbent substrates, ensuring every inch of your floor stays perfectly in place. Moreover, its adaptability extends to use as a gap-filler and pressure-sensitive adhesive on non-absorbent substrates or existing flooring within certain limits, making it a must-have for any installation challenge.
When applying to non-absorbent substrates, experience the convenience of starting your flooring installation just 20-50 minutes post-application. This high-performance adhesive boasts remarkable staying power with its long-lasting adhesion, superior peel and shear strength, rapid curing, and unparalleled curing strength. To ensure optimal results, the substrate must be impeccably solid, smooth, dry, crack-free, and devoid of dust. Should you encounter uneven, rough, dusty, or non-absorbent substrates, pre-treatment with LG180 Substrate Hardener or LG670 Non-Absorbent Interface Agent is essential to prevent any substrate debonding, thereby ensuring a flawless finish.
Installation Instructions
For the perfect wood flooring installation, leverage the precision of a B11 notched trowel specifically crafted for wood flooring adhesives. To maintain effectiveness, replace the notched bar after every 100 square meters. The ideal open time hinges on the adhesive quantity, prevailing climate conditions, and substrate absorption rate. You'll know the adhesive has reached optimal readiness when it begins to form strings, a clear signal to proceed with your installation.
In addition to its prowess with wood, this adhesive is equally adept for the wet bonding of SPC, WPC, and LVT floors. Utilize a B1 notched trowel for these materials, again replacing the notched bar every 100 square meters to maintain consistency. Initiate the flooring installation once the adhesive forms strings, ensuring comprehensive adhesion to both the floor and the backside of the flooring. During installation, meticulously roll the entire installed surface with a roller, using a cork board to press edges and corners for a seamless bond. Ensure the surface is uniformly pressed with no dead spots, fostering full adhesion. After 20 minutes, repeat the rolling process for absolute assurance. For optimal results, adhere to the technical instructions provided by Lan Guan, guiding you to the pinnacle of installation success.
