Performance characteristics
The LG9000 water-based adhesive is the pinnacle of innovation for floor decoration materials demanding exceptional elasticity and high curing properties, making it perfect for wood flooring, SPC, WPC, and LVT. This versatile adhesive also excels as a wet-bond, pressure-sensitive solution for pre-treated absorbent substrates, while offering limited but reliable gap-filling and pressure-sensitive application on non-absorbent substrates or existing flooring.
When applied to non-absorbent substrates, anticipate a flawless installation 20-50 minutes post-application. With unwavering adhesion, impressive peel and shear strength, rapid curing, and robust curing strength, the conditions must be impeccable: solid, smooth, dry, crack-free, and dust-free. For surfaces that are uneven, rough, or dusty, or if non-absorbent, enhance the substrate with LG180 Substrate Hardener or LG670 Non-Absorbent Interface Agent to ensure steadfast bonding and prevent debonding.
Installation Instructions
For impeccable wood flooring installation, a B11 notched trowel is indispensable for applying wood flooring adhesive. Refresh the notched bar every 100 square meters for optimal performance. Tailor the open time based on adhesive quantity, environmental conditions, and substrate absorption. Recognize readiness when the adhesive begins to form strings, signaling its prime for application.
For the wet bonding of SPC, WPC, and LVT floors, use the B1 notched trowel, renewing the notched bar every 100 square meters for consistent application. Initiate installation when the adhesive forms strings, guaranteeing effective transfer and adherence to both the floor and the back of the flooring. As you lay the flooring, meticulously roll the entire surface with a roller, using a cork board to firmly press edges and corners for even pressure and perfect bonding. After 20 minutes, reinforce with another rolling to achieve seamless adhesion. Adhere strictly to the technical instructions provided by Lan Guan for optimum results.
