LG9000 is a premium water-based adhesive, expertly crafted for flooring applications demanding exceptional elasticity and superior curing properties. It is tailored for use with wood flooring, SPC, WPC, and LVT. This versatile adhesive also excels in functioning as a wet-bond and pressure-sensitive solution on pre-treated absorbent substrates, ensuring robust adhesion. Moreover, it demonstrates remarkable performance in gap-filling and pressure-sensitive applications on non-absorbent substrates or existing flooring, albeit to a limited extent.
When utilizing on non-absorbent substrates, flooring installation can commence within 20-50 minutes post adhesive application. The adhesive boasts enduring adhesion, formidable peel and shear strength, rapid curing, and impressive curing strength. For optimal results, ensure the substrate is solid, smooth, dry, crack-free, and devoid of dust. On uneven, rough, dusty, or non-absorbent surfaces, pre-treatment with LG180 Substrate Hardener or LG670 Non-Absorbent Interface Agent is essential to avert substrate debonding, guaranteeing a flawless finish.
Installation Instructions
For impeccable wood flooring installation, employ a B11 notched trowel specifically designed for wood flooring adhesive. It is imperative to replace the notched bar every 100 square meters to maintain peak performance. Determine the open time considering the adhesive quantity, climatic conditions, and substrate absorption rate. The adhesive reaches optimal readiness when it begins to form strings, signaling it is time to proceed with installation.
For the wet bonding of SPC, WPC, and LVT flooring, a B1 notched trowel is recommended, ensuring consistent performance by replacing the notched bar every 100 square meters. Initiate flooring installation as soon as the adhesive forms strings, confirming it adheres effectively to both the floor and the back of the flooring material. During installation, roll the entire surface with a roller, using a cork board to press edges and corners meticulously. This ensures the installed surface is entirely flat, with no gaps, facilitating full bonding of the flooring with the adhesive. Repeat rolling at 20-minute intervals. Adhere strictly to the technical guidelines provided by Lan Guan for optimal results.
