This versatile adhesive also functions as a wet-bond and pressure-sensitive adhesive on pre-treated absorbent substrates. Impressively, it serves to fill gaps and acts as a pressure-sensitive adhesive on non-absorbent substrates or pre-existing flooring, albeit to a restrained extent.
When applying on non-absorbent substrates, the flooring can be flawlessly installed 20-50 minutes following adhesive application. For optimal performance, ensure the substrate is solid, smooth, dry, free from cracks and dust. Installation Instructions
For an impeccable wood flooring installation, employ a B11 notched trowel specifically designed for wood flooring adhesive applications. It is advisable to replace the notched bar after every 100 square meters for consistency. Ascertain the open time based on adhesive volume, climate conditions, and substrate absorption rate. Your adhesive is primed for use when it begins to exhibit string formations.
For the wet bonding of SPC, WPC, and LVT flooring, a B1 notched trowel is recommended, with notched bar replacements every 100 square meters. Initiate floor installation as soon as the adhesive forms strings to ensure optimal adhesion and transfer to the flooring's back. To guarantee the floor's seamless bonding, roll the entire installed surface using a roller, and utilize a cork board to press edges and corners. This ensures the surface is flat with no voids, facilitating full adhesive bonding. Repeat the rolling process after 20 minutes for best results.
