Performance characteristics
LG9000 water-based adhesive is suitable for floor decoration materials requiring high elasticity and high curing properties such as wood flooring, SPC, WPC, LVT. It is also suitable for use as a wet-bond, pressure-sensitive adhesive on pre-treated absorbent substrates. Additionally, it can be used a gap-filling and pressure-sensitive adhesive on non-absorbent substrates or existing flooring to a limited extent.
When used on non-absorbent substrates, flooring can be installed 20-50 minutes after adhesive application.It has long-lasting adhesion, strong peel and shear strength, fast curing, and high curing strength. The substrate must be solid, smooth, dry, crack-free, and dust-free. When working on uneven, rough, dusty or non-absorbent substrates, pre-treat the surface with LG180 Substrate Hardener or LG670 Non-Absorbent Interface Agent to prevent substrate debonding.
Installation Instructions
For wood flooring installation, it is recommended to use a B11 notched trowel specifically for wood flooring adhesive. Replace the notched bar every 100 square meters. Determine the open time based on the amount of adhesive applied, climate conditions, and substrate absorption rate. The adhesive is ready when it begins to form strings.
It can also be used for wet bonding of SPC, WPC, LVT floor, it is recommended to use a B1 notched trowel, replacing the notched bar every 100 square meters. Begin installing the flooring when the adhesive starts to form strings, ensuring that the adhesive effectively adheres to the floor and transfers to the back of the flooring. When installing the flooring, be sure to roll the entire installed surface with a roller, using a cork board to press the edges and corners. Ensure that the entire installed surface is pressed flat without any dead spots, allowing the flooring to fully bond with the adhesive. Repeat rolling after 20 minutes.
