Performance characteristics
The LG9000 water-based adhesive stands at the forefront of floor decoration solutions, engineered specifically for materials that demand exceptional elasticity and robust curing properties. Perfectly suited for wood flooring, SPC, WPC, and LVT, it excels in applications requiring a wet-bond, pressure-sensitive adhesive on pre-treated absorbent substrates. Additionally, it offers versatility as a gap-filling and pressure-sensitive adhesive on non-absorbent substrates, or for existing flooring applications, albeit to a limited extent. Expect reliable performance and adaptability to diverse flooring needs.
When dealing with non-absorbent substrates, this adhesive allows for flexibility in installation, enabling flooring placement 20-50 minutes post-application. It boasts enduring adhesion, formidable peel and shear strength, rapid curing, and robust curing strength. Essential conditions for optimal performance include a substrate that is solid, smooth, dry, crack-free, and free of dust. For surfaces that are uneven, rough, dusty, or non-absorbent, treat them in advance with LG180 Substrate Hardener or LG670 Non-Absorbent Interface Agent to secure substrate bonding and prevent debonding issues.
Installation Instructions
Maximize the efficiency of your wood flooring installation by employing a B11 notched trowel specifically crafted for wood flooring adhesives. It is advisable to replace the notched bar after every 100 square meters to maintain consistency. The open time of the adhesive should be gauged by considering factors such as the quantity of adhesive applied, climatic conditions, and the substrate's absorption rate. The adhesive is deemed ready for use when it begins to form strings, signaling its readiness for optimum adhesion.
When using the adhesive for wet bonding of SPC, WPC, or LVT flooring, opt for a B1 notched trowel, ensuring the notched bar is replaced after every 100 square meters to uphold performance standards. Begin the flooring installation when the adhesive starts to string, confirming that it effectively adheres to the floor and transfers to the backside of the flooring for a secure bond. During installation, make certain to roll the entire installed surface with a roller, utilizing a cork board to press along the edges and corners. This ensures a uniformly flat installation without any overlooked areas, promoting full adhesion between the flooring and adhesive. Follow this by repeating the rolling process 20 minutes later.
