This versatile adhesive is also excellent for use as a wet-bond, pressure-sensitive adhesive on pre-treated absorbent substrates. Additionally, it delivers exceptional performance as a gap-filling and pressure-sensitive adhesive, even on non-absorbent substrates or pre-existing flooring, though its use is recommended to a limited extent.
When applied on non-absorbent substrates, enjoy the flexibility of installing flooring 20-50 minutes post adhesive application. Benefit from its enduring adhesion, impressive peel and shear strength, rapid curing, and high curing strength. Ensure your substrate is solid, smooth, dry, crack-free, and dust-free for optimal results. For uneven, rough, dusty, or non-absorbent substrates, it is essential to pre-treat the surface with LG180 Substrate Hardener or LG670 Non-Absorbent Interface Agent to prevent any substrate debonding issues.
Installation Instructions
To achieve flawless wood flooring installation, employ a B11 notched trowel designed specifically for wood flooring adhesive applications. Replace the notched bar every 100 square meters to maintain optimal performance. Adjust the open time according to the adhesive amount applied, climatic conditions, and substrate absorption rate. The adhesive is primed and ready for action when it starts forming strings.
For wet bonding of SPC, WPC, and LVT floors, use a B1 notched trowel, ensuring to replace the notched bar every 100 square meters. Initiate the flooring installation as soon as the adhesive begins forming strings, guaranteeing effective adhesion to the floor and transfer to the back of the flooring. Utilize a roller to cover the entire installed surface, pressing the edges and corners with a cork board to ensure a completely flat surface without any dead spots-this ensures the flooring fully bonds with the adhesive.
