Our LG9000 water-based adhesive is expertly formulated for floor decoration materials that demand both high elasticity and superior curing properties, such as wood flooring, SPC, WPC, and LVT. This versatile adhesive excels as a wet-bond, pressure-sensitive solution on pre-treated absorbent substrates. Not only that, it also serves as a gap-filling and pressure-sensitive adhesive on non-absorbent substrates or existing flooring, albeit to a limited extent, ensuring your projects are both robust and reliable.
When applying on non-absorbent substrates, you have a convenient window of 20-50 minutes after adhesive application for flooring installation. This adhesive boasts long-lasting adhesion, remarkable peel and shear strength, rapid curing, and impressive curing strength. For optimal results, ensure the substrate is solid, smooth, dry, crack-free, and dust-free. If dealing with uneven, rough, dusty, or non-absorbent substrates, it is crucial to pre-treat the surface with our LG180 Substrate Hardener or LG670 Non-Absorbent Interface Agent. This step is key to preventing any substrate debonding, ensuring a flawless finish for your flooring projects.
Installation Instructions
For the flawless installation of wood flooring, it is best to use a B11 notched trowel, specifically designed for wood flooring adhesive. To maintain precision, replace the notched bar every 100 square meters. The open time is determined by the adhesive amount, climate conditions, and substrate absorption rate. You'll know the adhesive is ready for flooring when it starts to form strings, indicating its optimal bonding capacity.
For a perfect wet bond of SPC, WPC, and LVT flooring, the use of a B1 notched trowel is recommended, with the notched bar needing replacement every 100 square meters. Begin the flooring installation when the adhesive starts to form strings, guaranteeing optimal adherence to the floor and transfer to the back of the flooring. During installation, ensure the entire surface is rolled with a roller and use a cork board for pressing edges and corners. This ensures a perfectly flat surface without any flaws, allowing the flooring to bond completely with the adhesive. Roll again after 20 minutes for best results.
