The versatile K50 can be applied from a precise 2mm to a substantial 5mm thickness in a single application, adapting to your project needs.
1. Diligently remove oil stains, dust, loose debris, and any old coatings from the surface for optimal application.
2. Grind the uneven surfaces to clear away loose concrete and debris, then vacuum meticulously to eliminate any residual loose materials and dust.
3. Ensure the base is dry, immaculate, and free from puddles to promote superior adhesion.
4. For absorbent substrates, employ the LG660 water-based absorbent interface treatment agent; for non-absorbent substrates, apply the LG670 non-absorbent interface agent for a flawless result.
Achieve the perfect consistency with a water-to-mortar ratio of 26% for optimal performance.
1. Post thorough cleaning, select an appropriate primer. Once the primer is absorbed and begins to dry (typically 2-6 hours post-application), initiate preparations for self-leveling.
2. Begin by pouring approximately 6 liters of pure, clean water into a container. Gradually add a 25-kilogram bag of self-leveling compound, mixing until uniformly smooth and lump-free. Evenly distribute the mixture using a specialist notched trowel to control thickness. Protect the freshly mixed material from direct sunlight and strong winds, completing the application within 10 minutes.
3. Prior to the self-leveling compound setting, utilize a defoaming roller to eliminate entrapped air. Note: A pump with a delivery capacity of 20-40 liters per minute can be employed to transport the self-leveling slurry effectively.
TRANSPORTATION
Store in a dry, ventilated, and cool environment, shielded from direct sunlight and humidity. With its robust seal, the shelf life extends to an impressive 6 months.
During transportation, exercise caution to avoid collisions and compression to maintain the integrity of the packaging.
