Performance characteristics
The remarkable LG9000 water-based adhesive delivers unparalleled versatility and superior bonding strength, making it an exceptional choice for premium floor decoration materials that demand high elasticity and robust curing properties. Ideal for a wide range of materials such as wood flooring, SPC, WPC, and LVT, this adhesive showcases its adaptability by functioning as a wet-bond, pressure-sensitive adhesive on adequately pre-treated absorbent substrates. Embrace the seamless convenience of its application on non-absorbent substrates or existing floors, where it serves as a gap-filling and pressure-sensitive adhesive to a strategic extent, ensuring exceptional durability and performance.
On non-absorbent substrates, the LG9000 adhesive allows for floor installation a mere 20-50 minutes post-application, offering long-lasting adhesion that stands the test of time. Its formidable peel and shear strength, rapid curing, and high curing solidity make it a reliable choice. Ensure the substrate is solid, smooth, dry, and free of cracks and dust. For challenging surfaces-be they uneven, rough, dusty, or non-absorbent-enhance substrate integrity with LG180 Substrate Hardener or LG670 Non-Absorbent Interface Agent to avert any risk of substrate debonding.
Installation Instructions
For the flawless installation of wood flooring, the use of a B11 notched trowel specifically designed for wood flooring adhesive is highly recommended. Ensure optimal adhesive application by replacing the notched bar every 100 square meters. Factor in the amount of adhesive used, prevailing climate conditions, and substrate absorption rate to determine the open time accurately. Recognize the ideal moment for installation when the adhesive begins to string, signaling its readiness for a steadfast bond.
In addition to wood, this adhesive is perfectly suited for the wet bonding of SPC, WPC, and LVT floors. Employing a B1 notched trowel is advised, with notched bar replacement every 100 square meters. Initiate the installation process once the adhesive starts to form strings, ensuring it thoroughly adheres and transfers to the back of the flooring. Employ a roller to meticulously roll the entire installed surface and a cork board to press the edges and corners for a seamless, flat finish without dead spots. Allow the flooring to achieve complete bonding with the adhesive, and repeat the rolling process after 20 minutes to reinforce adhesion.
