Performance characteristics
The exceptional LG9000 water-based adhesive is expertly crafted for floor decoration materials that demand both high elasticity and superior curing properties. It is the go-to solution for versatile flooring types such as wood flooring, SPC, WPC, and LVT. This adhesive shines in its dual role: firstly, as a reliable wet-bond, pressure-sensitive adhesive on meticulously pre-treated absorbent substrates; and secondly, as an effective gap-filling, pressure-sensitive adhesive for non-absorbent substrates or existing flooring, albeit to a controlled extent. Its versatility makes it an ideal choice for a range of flooring challenges.
On non-absorbent substrates, flooring installation can commence a mere 20-50 minutes after applying the adhesive, highlighting its rapid action and convenience. Its long-lasting adhesion, coupled with formidable peel and shear strength, ensures a robust and durable flooring solution. The adhesive is designed for swift curing with impressive high curing strength. The substrate should be solid, smooth, dry, and devoid of cracks and dust. For surfaces that are uneven, rough, dusty, or non-absorbent, a preparatory treatment using LG180 Substrate Hardener or LG670 Non-Absorbent Interface Agent is advised to prevent any substrate debonding, ensuring a flawless and secure installation.
Installation Instructions
For optimal wood flooring installation, employ the B11 notched trowel specifically engineered for wood flooring adhesive. To maintain efficacy, replace the notched bar after completing 100 square meters. The open time should be carefully determined by considering the adhesive quantity, climate conditions, and the substrate's absorption rate. The adhesive reaches readiness when it starts to form strings, signifying its optimal state for flooring application.
In the case of wet bonding for SPC, WPC, or LVT flooring, the B1 notched trowel is recommended, ensuring to replace the notched bar after every 100 square meters. Initiate flooring installation when the adhesive begins to form strings, guaranteeing exceptional adherence to the floor and effective transfer to the back of the flooring. During installation, thoroughly roll the entire surface using a roller, and employ a cork board to meticulously press edges and corners for a seamless finish. This ensures the surface is perfectly flat, devoid of missed spots, promoting complete bonding with the adhesive. Perform a repeat rolling session after 20 minutes to secure the installation. Please adhere to Lan Guan's detailed technical instructions for best results.
