DESCRIPTION

Languan-Q1 lightweight plastering gypsum is an indoor wall and ceiling plastering material carefully formulated with high-purity semi hydrated gypsum as the binding material, selected lightweight aggregates, and various environmentally friendly functional additives. It is designed specifically for leveling the interior base of modern buildings and is suitable for various substrates such as concrete, aerated concrete blocks, brick and concrete walls. It is the basic material for achieving high-quality interior decoration.
This product has significant advantages such as light weight, sound insulation, high construction efficiency, good bonding strength, and resistance to hollowing and cracking. It is an ideal modern and environmentally friendly alternative to traditional cement mortar.

APPLICATION SCOPE

It is designed specifically for leveling the interior base of modern buildings and is suitable for various substrates such as concrete, aerated concrete blocks, brick and concrete walls. It is the basic material for achieving high-quality interior decoration.
This product has excellent waterproof performance, suitable for rapid renovation of indoor  floors; it can quickly repair and level damaged concrete surfaces; effectively addressing various issues of concrete floors, including sand shedding, peeling, insufficient strength, uneven surfaces, exposed aggregates, and pothole repairs.
 

PRODUCT ADVANTAGES

1. Excellent thermal insulation: core advantage. The vitrified microbeads filled with closedcell structures inside form an effective thermal barrier with extremely low thermal conductivity,significantly improving the thermal performance of the wall and achieving cool summers and warm winters.
2. Lightweight and High Strength: The dry density is much lower than traditional cementmortar, which can effectively reduce building loads and has good compressive and shearstrength, meeting the mechanical performance requirements of the plaster layer.
3. A-level fire protection: The main component is inorganic materials, with a combustionperformance level of A1. It does not burn when exposed to fire and can effectively improve the fire safety level of buildings.
4. Strong adhesion and good crack resistance: The addition of polymer adhesive powder andcrack resistant fibers makes it firmly bonded to the base layer, with strong integrity, flexiblecrack resistance, and effective prevention of hollowing and cracking.

SUBFLOOR PREPARATION

1. Remove oil stains, dust, loose debris, and old coatings from the surface.

2. Sand the uneven ground to remove loose concrete and impurities.

3.When dealing with leaks, first use a leak-stopper to seal the leaks and ensure the ground is dry and free of water. PS: During outdoor construction in summer, moisten the ground first and wait for the surface to dry before proceeding with the construction to achieve better results.

4. For absorbent substrates, it is recommended to use LG660 water-based absorbent interface treatment agent; for non-absorbent surface substrates, it is recommended to use LG670 non-absorbent interface agent for treatment.
 

CONSTRUCTION WORK

1. Base Surface Preparation

• Ensure the substrate is solid, flat, clean, and free from oil stains, dust, and loose materials.
• Repair cracks, holes, or damaged areas before application.
• For highly absorbent surfaces (such as aerated concrete blocks), apply a suitable interface agent or pre-wet the surface to prevent rapid water loss and ensure proper bonding strength.

2. Mixing

• Recommended mixing ratio: Gypsum powder : Water ≈ 2 : 1 (adjust according to product instructions).
• Add powder into water gradually and mix with an electric mixer for 2-3 minutes until a smooth, uniform slurry is formed.
• Allow the mixture to rest for 2-3 minutes, then remix briefly before use.
• Use the mixed material within the setting time (approximately 60-90 minutes) and do not add extra water for reuse.

3. Construction Process

• Use leveling tools or infrared marking equipment to determine plaster thickness.
• Manual application: Apply the slurry with a trowel and level the surface. One-layer thickness can reach 5-20 mm. For thicker leveling, apply in multiple layers after the previous layer has hardened.
• Machine spraying: Spray evenly onto the wall surface using suitable equipment, then level with a scraper.
• Before initial setting, smooth and level the surface with a scraper to remove marks and ensure a flat finish.
• Use special tools for corner finishing to achieve straight and neat edges.

4. Curing & Maintenance

• Protect the finished surface from strong wind and direct sunlight during drying.
• Allow natural drying and hardening.
• Normally, the next decoration process can start after 24-48 hours.

 

IMPORTANT NOTES

1. Storage and transportation: The product should be stored in a cool and dry place to preventmoisture. The storage period is generally 6-12 months. Pay attention to rain and moistureduring transportation.
2. Construiction environment: The temperature of the construction environment should bebetween 5 C and 35 °C. Avoid construction in rainy days, high temperatures, direct sunlight, orfrozen conditions,
3. Water requirements: Clean tap water must be used for mixing, and the use of sewage andindustrial wastewater is strictly prohibited.
4. Material usage: Once the mixed slurry begins to solidify, it is strictly prohibited to add waterand stir it again, otherwise it will seriously affect the strength and cause powdering andcracking.
5. Scope of application: This product is only suitable for plastering walls and ceilings in dryindoor environments, and is not suitable for wet areas such as bathrooms and kitchens that areexposed to water for a long time (unless the product specifically states that it hasmoisture-proof function).
6. Safety Notice: Please wear necessary protective equipment (such as gloves and masks)during construction. If it accidentally gets into the eyes, immediately rinse with plenty of waterand seek medical attention.
