When applying on non-absorbent substrates, the flooring installation window ranges from 20 to 50 minutes post-adhesive application. This adhesive boasts enduring adhesion, remarkable peel and shear strength, rapid curing, and superior curing strength. It is crucial that the substrate is solid, smooth, dry, crack-free, and devoid of dust. For challenging surfaces that are uneven, rough, dusty, or non-absorbent, it is essential to pre-treat with LG180 Substrate Hardener or LG670 Non-Absorbent Interface Agent, effectively preventing any risks of substrate debonding.
Installation Instructions
For an impeccable wood flooring installation, it is advised to utilize a B11 notched trowel tailored for wood flooring adhesive. Replace the notched bar every 100 square meters to maintain optimal performance. The open time should be determined based on applied adhesive quantity, prevailing climate conditions, and the substrate's absorption rate. The adhesive reaches readiness when it begins forming strings, indicating optimal tack for installation.
This adhesive is also ideal for wet bonding SPC, WPC, and LVT flooring. Employ a B1 notched trowel, replacing the notched bar after covering 100 square meters. Begin flooring installation when the adhesive forms strings to ensure effective adhesion and transfer to the back of the flooring. During installation, roll the entire surface with a roller, using a cork board to press edges and corners, ensuring uniform contact with no dead spots. This guarantees a flawless bond between the flooring and adhesive. Repeat rolling after 20 minutes to reinforce bonding.
