THICKNESS

The innovative K12 Self-Leveling Underlayment, from the renowned Shanghai Languan New Building Materials Co., Ltd, is expertly designed to be applied with ease and flexibility, accommodating a range of thickness from 8mm to 30mm in a single, seamless application.
Please note: To achieve optimal performance and bonding strength when applying the K12 Self-Leveling Underlayment at a layer thickness between 2cm and 3cm, it is essential to incorporate 8kg of high-quality quartz sand into the mix, ensuring a robust and durable finish.

SUBFLOOR PREPARATION

1. Begin with a pristine foundation by meticulously eliminating oil stains, dust, loose fragments, and any remnants of old coatings from the surface.

2. Smooth out any irregularities by sanding the uneven areas, ensuring the removal of loose concrete and any impurities to create a flawless base.

3. When facing potential leaks, employ a reliable leak-stopper to effectively seal them, guaranteeing that the ground remains dry and devoid of water. Note: For outdoor projects in summer, lightly moisten the surface first, then allow it to dry before proceeding with construction for optimal results.

4. For substrates that are absorbent, it is highly advisable to utilize the LG660 water-based absorbent interface treatment agent. For non-absorbent substrates, the LG670 non-absorbent interface agent is recommended to ensure ideal surface treatment.

WATER-TO-INGREDIENT RATIO

The ideal water to mortar ratio is set at a precise 22%, ensuring optimal consistency and exceptional results for your self-leveling underlayment projects.

APPLICATION

1. Begin the preparatory phase by thoroughly cleaning the repair area. This crucial step ensures the floor is pristine and devoid of dust, debris, and oil stains, establishing an immaculate working surface ready for flawless construction.

2. Apply a uniform layer of primer across the meticulously prepared base surface. Opt for 1-2 coats for optimal results, allowing the primer to dry fully, setting the stage for superior adhesion.

3. In accordance with the specified ratio, start by pouring 5 liters of water into your mixing container. Subsequently, incorporate 25 kilograms of repair mortar. Blend these elements seamlessly using a mixer to achieve a consistent and homogenous mixture.

4. Once the mixture is ready, pour it generously into the designated repair area. Utilize a trowel to distribute it evenly, ensuring a flawlessly smooth surface. Follow up with a roller to expertly debubble, eliminating any surface bubbles for a perfect finish.

IMPORTANT NOTES

1. Maintain an optimal construction environment by ensuring temperatures are consistently between 5ºC and 30ºC. For outdoor projects, shield the area from direct sunlight and steer clear of rainy weather to ensure flawless application.

2. Attentively adhere to the water-to-product ratio as outlined in the product manual. This precision is crucial to preserve the exceptional performance of the self-leveling material, ensuring flawless results every time.

3. Swiftly apply the mixed self-leveling material within 20 minutes to maintain its premium quality and prevent it from hardening prematurely, ensuring a seamless and efficient application.

4. Prioritize safety during construction to prevent accidental splashes of the material into your eyes or onto your skin, maintaining a safe and secure work environment.

5. Protect the curing surface from heavy impacts or water exposure to ensure optimal curing and steadfast durability of the applied layer.


TRANSPORTATION

Store the product in a dry, well-ventilated, and cool location, safely distances from direct sunlight and moisture. During transportation, handle with care to avoid any collisions or compression that might compromise the integrity of the packaging.
