SUBFLOOR PREPARATION
1. Initiate your process with an impeccable cleaning regimen. Meticulously eliminate every trace of oil stains, dust, loose debris, and remnants of old coatings from the surface. This thorough cleansing is crucial for achieving optimal bonding and ensuring the enduring performance of your subfloor.
2. Expertly sand the uneven ground, targeting the removal of any loose concrete and embedded impurities with precision. This meticulous step guarantees a perfectly smooth and immaculate foundation, ready to receive subsequent applications with ease.
3. It is vital to confirm that the base is impeccably dry and utterly free from any puddles. Even the slightest moisture presence can jeopardize the integrity and adherence of the surface solution, affecting overall performance.
4. For substrates exhibiting high absorbency, we advise utilizing our LG660 water-based absorbent interface treatment agent, designed to penetrate deeply and secure a robust bond. 2. Pour approximately 5 liters of clean, fresh water into a suitable mixing container. Gradually add an entire 25-kilogram bag of our high-grade self-leveling compound. Utilize a mixer to blend until achieving an impeccable, smooth, and lump-free consistency. Spread the prepared mixture evenly with a specialized notched trowel to precisely control the thickness. Safeguard the freshly prepared surface from direct sunlight and strong winds to maintain optimal results.
3. Before the compound sets, employ a defoaming roller to glide smoothly over the surface, effectively expelling any trapped air bubbles. Note: For a streamlined application, consider using a pump with a delivery capability of 20-40 liters per minute to ensure the self-leveling slurry is applied effortlessly and uniformly.
IMPORTANT NOTES
1. Maintain ambient conditions within the construction area between 5°C and 30°C, with low relative humidity to ensure optimal performance of the material.
