Performance characteristics
The LG9000 water-based adhesive is a top-tier solution meticulously crafted for floor decoration materials that demand exceptional elasticity and robust curing properties. It is impeccably suited for applications involving wood flooring, SPC, WPC, and LVT. Elevate your project with its versatile use as a wet-bond, pressure-sensitive adhesive on pre-treated absorbent substrates, ensuring a seamless finish. Moreover, its capability to serve as a gap-filling, pressure-sensitive adhesive on non-absorbent substrates or existing flooring, albeit to a limited extent, makes it a versatile choice for various installation needs.
When applied to non-absorbent substrates, the LG9000 adhesive allows for the installation of flooring between 20 to 50 minutes post-application, ensuring convenience and efficiency. Revel in its enduring adhesion, superior peel and shear strength, rapid curing abilities, and impressive high curing strength. For optimal performance, the substrate should be solid, smooth, dry, crack-free, and devoid of dust. In instances of uneven, rough, dusty, or non-absorbent substrates, it is advisable to pre-treat the surface with LG180 Substrate Hardener or LG670 Non-Absorbent Interface Agent, effectively preventing any risk of substrate debonding and guaranteeing optimal results.
Installation Instructions
For an impeccable wood flooring installation, it is highly recommended to utilize a B11 notched trowel specifically designed for wood flooring adhesive application. Replace the notched bar every 100 square meters to maintain precision and performance. The open time should be astutely determined based on the adhesive quantity, climatic conditions, and substrate absorption rate. Recognize readiness when the adhesive forms strings, signaling the perfect moment to proceed.
Experience seamless wet bonding for SPC, WPC, and LVT floors with the LG9000 adhesive. It is recommended to employ a B1 notched trowel, ensuring notched bar replacement every 100 square meters. Commence installation when the adhesive forms strings, thereby ensuring effective adhesion to the floor and proper transfer to the flooring's back. During installation, meticulously roll the entire installed surface with a roller, using a cork board to firmly press edges and corners. Verify that the surface is adequately pressed flat, eliminating dead spots, and facilitating full bonding with the adhesive. Repeat the rolling process after 20 minutes to secure and optimize the bond.
