Performance characteristics
LG9000, an exceptional water-based adhesive, is crafted for flooring decor that demands incomparable elasticity and premium curing properties. Ideal for wood flooring, SPC, WPC, and LVT, it excels as a wet-bond, pressure-sensitive adhesive for pre-treated absorbent substrates. Beyond this, it shines as a gap-filling and pressure-sensitive adhesive on non-absorbent substrates or existing flooring, albeit to a limited extent, offering versatility in various applications.
On non-absorbent substrates, this adhesive allows flooring installation between 20 to 50 minutes post-application. Revel in its enduring adhesion, formidable peel and shear strength, rapid curing, and robust final cure strength. For optimal results, ensure the substrate is solid, smooth, dry, crack-free, and dust-free. If dealing with uneven, rough, dusty, or non-absorbent surfaces, pre-treat with LG180 Substrate Hardener or LG670 Non-Absorbent Interface Agent to prevent any risk of debonding.
Installation Instructions
For exquisite wood flooring installations, employ a B11 notched trowel tailored for wood flooring adhesive. Replace the notched bar every 100 square meters to maintain precision. Assess the open time based on adhesive quantity, climate conditions, and substrate absorption rate. The adhesive is prime for use once it begins forming strings, indicating its readiness.
For seamless wet bonding of SPC, WPC, and LVT floors, a B1 notched trowel is recommended, with notched bar replacement after every 100 square meters. Begin flooring installation as the adhesive forms strings, ensuring optimal adhesion to the floor and transfer to the back of the flooring. During installation, meticulously roll the entire surface with a roller, pressing the edges and corners with a cork board. Guarantee a flat, flawless installation, leaving no dead spots for comprehensive bonding. Repeat the rolling process after 20 minutes for assured adhesion.
