Performance characteristics
The LG9000 water-based adhesive by Shanghai Languan New Building Materials Co., Ltd is an exceptional choice for those seeking a reliable, high-quality adhesive for demanding flooring applications. This adhesive is expertly designed for floor decoration materials that require superior elasticity and robust curing properties, making it ideal for wood flooring, SPC, WPC, and LVT. Its versatile formulation allows it to function as a wet-bond, pressure-sensitive adhesive on pre-treated absorbent substrates. Additionally, it serves as an effective gap-filling and pressure-sensitive adhesive on non-absorbent substrates or existing flooring under limited conditions.
When applying to non-absorbent substrates, the durable LG9000 adhesive allows for flooring installation within 20 to 50 minutes post-application. Its long-lasting adhesion, coupled with strong peel and shear strength, ensures rapid and high-strength curing. For optimal results, the substrate should be solid, smooth, dry, crack-free, and devoid of dust. When dealing with uneven, rough, dusty, or non-absorbent substrates, it is highly recommended to pre-treat the surface with LG180 Substrate Hardener or LG670 Non-Absorbent Interface Agent, thereby preventing substrate debonding and ensuring optimum adhesive performance.
Installation Instructions
For the pristine installation of wood flooring, it is advisable to utilize a B11 notched trowel specifically designed for wood flooring adhesives. Ensure the notched bar is replaced every 100 square meters to maintain efficiency. The open time for the adhesive should be determined based on several factors, including the amount applied, prevailing climate conditions, and the substrate's absorption rate. You will know the adhesive is ready when it begins to form strings, signaling that it is primed for application.
For wet bonding of SPC, WPC, and LVT floors, a B1 notched trowel is recommended, with the notched bar being replaced every 100 square meters for consistent performance. Initiate flooring installation when the adhesive begins to form strings, ensuring a thorough bond to the floor and transfer to the flooring's underside. During installation, it is crucial to roll the entire surface with a roller, utilizing a cork board to press down on edges and corners. This ensures the surface is uniformly pressed flat, facilitating a complete bond between the flooring and adhesive. This rolling process should be repeated after 20 minutes. We strongly advise adhering to the meticulous technical instructions provided by Lan Guan to achieve optimal results.
