Performance characteristics
Introducing the LG9000, a water-based adhesive that stands at the forefront of flooring innovation, crafted to perfection for flooring materials requiring unparalleled elasticity and extraordinary curing properties. This adhesive emerges as the perfect choice for wood flooring, SPC, WPC, and LVT, demonstrating its versatility as a wet-bond and pressure-sensitive solution, especially effective on pre-treated absorbent surfaces. Its remarkable flexibility allows it to serve as a gap-filling and pressure-sensitive adhesive for non-absorbent substrates or existing floors, within specified guidelines. Experience the ultimate in flooring adhesive technology with LG9000.
On non-absorbent substrates, the LG9000 adhesive seamlessly marries luxury with functionality, allowing for flooring installation just 20-50 minutes after adhesive application. Enjoy steadfast adhesion characterized by remarkable peel and shear strengths, rapid curing, and robust curing strength. To achieve optimal performance, the substrate must be robust, smooth, dry, crack-free, and devoid of dust. For more challenging surfaces-be it uneven, rough, dusty, or non-absorbent-preparation with the LG180 Substrate Hardener or LG670 Non-Absorbent Interface Agent is essential to prevent substrate debonding and ensure a pristine finish.
Installation Instructions
For an impeccable wood flooring installation, the use of the B11 notched trowel, engineered specifically for wood flooring adhesive application, is imperative. It is vital to replace the notched bar every 100 square meters to maintain consistency in application. Adjust the open time by considering factors such as adhesive volume, climatic conditions, and substrate absorption rate. The adhesive is ready for use when it begins to form strings, ensuring peak bonding efficiency and performance.
When undertaking the wet bonding of SPC, WPC, or LVT flooring, the B1 notched trowel is indispensable, with a notched bar replacement necessary every 100 square meters. Begin flooring installation as the adhesive starts forming strings for effective adhesion and transfer to the underside of the flooring. During installation, meticulously roll the entire surface with a roller and use a cork board to press the edges and corners, ensuring a flawlessly smooth adherence without any dead spots. This process allows for complete bonding between the floor and adhesive. Reinforce the bond by rolling again 20 minutes later. Adhere strictly to the technical guidelines provided by Lan Guan to achieve superior results.
