THICKNESS

The innovative K12 can be applied with incredible versatility, ranging from a sleek 8mm to a robust 30mm thickness in just one application, adapting effortlessly to your needs.
Please note: For optimal performance and enhanced durability, K12 requires the addition of 8kg of premium quartz sand when forming a substantial layer between 2cm and 3cm thick.

SUBFLOOR PREPARATION

1. Begin by meticulously removing any oil stains, dust, loose debris, and old coatings from the surface, setting the foundation for a flawless finish.

2. Smooth out the ground's imperfections with precision sanding, expertly eliminating loose concrete and impurities for a seamless surface.

3. Address any leaks with a proactive approach: first, seal them effectively using a reliable leak-stopper. Ensure the ground is completely dry and water-free before proceeding. Note: During summer outdoor construction, pre-moisten the ground and allow it to dry for optimal results.

4. Choose the perfect interface treatment: for absorbent substrates, employ the LG660 water-based absorbent interface treatment agent; for non-absorbent surfaces, select the LG670 non-absorbent interface agent for superior bonding and preparation.

WATER-TO-INGREDIENT RATIO

Water to mortar ratio: An optimal blend of 22%

APPLICATION

1. Begin by meticulously cleansing the repair area to guarantee the floor is immaculate, devoid of dust, debris, and oil stains. This ensures a pristine working surface, setting the stage for flawless subsequent construction.

2. Proceed to apply a uniform layer of primer on the meticulously prepared base surface. Apply 1-2 coats depending on the surface requirements, allowing the primer to dry completely, ensuring optimal adhesion.

3. Following the recommended ratio, start by adding 5L of water. Gradually incorporate 25kg of repair mortar and blend thoroughly using a mixer to achieve a homogenous consistency.

4. Carefully pour the well-mixed material into the targeted repair area. Utilize a trowel to spread it evenly, guaranteeing a flawlessly smooth surface. Follow this by using a roller to effectively debubble and eliminate any surface bubbles, ensuring a perfect finish.

IMPORTANT NOTES

1. Ensure that the construction environment is meticulously maintained at a temperature range of 5ºC to 30ºC. Especially when working outdoors, it is advisable to steer clear of direct sunlight; it's crucial to refrain from undertaking construction activities during rainy weather for optimal results.

2. Adhering strictly to the water-to-material ratio as outlined in the product manual is essential. This precision will ensure the superior performance of our Heavy-Duty Self-Leveling Mortar. Avoid compromising the integrity of the material by adding excessive or insufficient amounts of water.

3. Once mixed, the self-leveling material should be expertly applied within a 20-minute window to ensure optimal consistency and prevent premature solidification, which would render the material unusable.

4. Exercise heightened caution during the construction process to prevent the material from inadvertently splashing into the eyes or onto the skin. Safety is a priority.

5. During the critical curing phase, it is important to protect the surface from impacts by heavy objects and prevent any water exposure to guarantee successful application.


TRANSPORTATION

Store this premium product in a dry, well-ventilated, and cool environment, shielded from direct sunlight and moisture. During transportation, diligently avoid collisions and compression to ensure the integrity of the packaging is preserved.
