Introducing the LG9000 water-based adhesive, a versatile solution perfect for floor decoration materials that demand elasticity and robust curing, including wood flooring, SPC, WPC, and LVT. This high-performance adhesive is perfectly suited for both wet-bond and pressure-sensitive applications on pre-treated absorbent substrates. Furthermore, it excels as a gap-filling and pressure-sensitive adhesive for non-absorbent substrates or existing flooring, although its use in such scenarios is suggested to be limited.
When applying on non-absorbent substrates, the adhesive allows for flooring installation between 20-50 minutes post-application. Its distinctive features include enduring adhesion, impressive peel and shear strength, rapid curing, and formidable curing strength. Ensure the substrate is solid, smooth, dry, crack-free, and dust-free for optimal results. For uneven, rough, or dusty surfaces, as well as non-absorbent substrates, pre-treatment with LG180 Substrate Hardener or LG670 Non-Absorbent Interface Agent is strongly recommended. This step prevents substrate debonding and enhances the adhesive's performance.
Installation Instructions
For a flawless wood flooring installation, the use of a B11 notched trowel, specifically designed for wood flooring adhesives, is advocated. It's essential to replace the notched bar every 100 square meters to maintain consistency. The open time of the adhesive should be determined by considering the quantity applied, prevailing climate conditions, and the substrate's absorption rate. You'll know the adhesive is ready for flooring installation when it starts forming strings.
The adhesive is equally adept for wet bonding with SPC, WPC, and LVT flooring. Employ a B1 notched trowel for these materials, ensuring the notched bar is replaced every 100 square meters. Initiate flooring installation as the adhesive begins to form strings. This ensures effective adhesion and transfer to the back of the flooring. During installation, roll the entire surface with a roller and press the edges and corners with a cork board to ensure a seamless bond. The entire installed surface must be pressed flat without any gaps to achieve a perfect bond. After 20 minutes, repeat the rolling process. Adhere strictly to the technical instructions provided by Lan Guan for best results.
