When applying LG9000 on non-absorbent substrates, you can start installing your flooring 20-50 minutes post-application, ensuring convenience and efficiency in your projects. This adhesive boasts of enduring adhesion, robust peel and shear strength, expedited curing, and formidable curing strength. Remember, the substrate should be solid, smooth, dry, devoid of cracks, and free from dust to achieve optimal results. For surfaces that are uneven, rough, dusty, or non-absorbent, pre-treatment with LG180 Substrate Hardener or LG670 Non-Absorbent Interface Agent is essential to avoid substrate debonding, thus safeguarding the quality and longevity of your installation.
Installation Instructions
For immaculate wood flooring installation, we highly recommend using a B11 notched trowel specifically designed for wood flooring adhesive applications. To maintain efficiency, replace the notched bar every 100 square meters. The open time should be carefully determined based on adhesive application amount, climate conditions, and substrate absorption rate, ensuring precision and reliability. You will know the adhesive is ready when it begins to form strings, signaling the optimal moment to proceed.
This product is also superb for wet bonding of SPC, WPC, and LVT floors. For these materials, using a B1 notched trowel is advised, with notched bar replacement every 100 square meters. Initiate flooring installation as soon as the adhesive strings start to form, ensuring the adhesive securely anchors to the floor and transfers to the back of the flooring. During installation, employ a roller to uniformly press the entire surface, and use a cork board to firmly press the edges and corners. Guarantee that the entire area is pressed flat, free of any voids, allowing the flooring to thoroughly bond with the adhesive. Roll again after 20 minutes for reinforced bonding.
