Performance characteristics
The LG9000 water-based adhesive is a pinnacle of innovation, masterfully crafted for floor decoration materials that demand superior elasticity and robust curing properties. This includes exquisite wood flooring, SPC, WPC, and LVT. Its versatile nature also makes it perfect as a wet-bond, pressure-sensitive adhesive on carefully pre-treated absorbent substrates. In addition, it serves as an exceptional gap-filling and pressure-sensitive adhesive on non-absorbent substrates or existing flooring to a certain extent.
When employed on non-absorbent substrates, anticipate laying down your flooring a swift 20-50 minutes post adhesive application. This adhesive is renowned for its long-lasting adhesion, formidable peel and shear strength, rapid curing process, and high curing potency. The substrate's surface must be uncompromisingly solid, smooth, dry, and devoid of cracks and dust. Should you find yourself working on uneven, rough, dusty, or non-absorbent substrates, it is essential to pre-treat the surface using LG180 Substrate Hardener or LG670 Non-Absorbent Interface Agent. This crucial step prevents any substrate debonding.
Installation Instructions
For the impeccable installation of wood flooring, we recommend employing a B11 notched trowel, specially designed for wood flooring adhesive. An important note: replace the notched bar every 100 square meters to maintain precision. The open time of the adhesive is contingent upon the adhesive's application amount, climatic conditions, and substrate absorption rate. You'll know the adhesive is primed for use when it begins to form strings, marking the perfect moment to initiate installation.
In addition to wood flooring, this adhesive is adept for the wet bonding of SPC, WPC, and LVT floors. For these materials, we recommend utilizing a B1 notched trowel, again replacing the notched bar every 100 square meters. Begin installing once the adhesive starts to form strings, ensuring an impeccable transfer of adhesive to the floor and the back of the flooring. During installation, it is imperative to roll the entire surface with a roller, using a cork board to press along the edges and corners. Ensure the entire surface is uniformly pressed flat, eradicating any dead spots and allowing for full adhesion between the flooring and adhesive. After 20 minutes, repeat the rolling process. Adhere strictly to the technical instructions provided by Lan Guan to guarantee optimal results.
