Performance characteristics
The LG9000 water-based adhesive stands out as a superior choice for the discerning craftsman. Ideal for floor decoration materials that demand high elasticity and robust curing properties, it effortlessly caters to wood flooring, SPC, WPC, and LVT. Its versatile nature allows it to function as a wet-bond, pressure-sensitive adhesive on pre-treated absorbent substrates, showcasing its adaptability. Moreover, its efficacy extends to being a gap-filling and pressure-sensitive adhesive on non-absorbent substrates or existing flooring, albeit to a limited extent, truly exemplifying its multifunctional prowess.
When applied to non-absorbent substrates, this adhesive offers a convenient installation window of 20-50 minutes post-application. It boasts enduring adhesion, coupled with formidable peel and shear strength, ensuring a swift and resilient cure. To achieve optimal results, ensure the substrate is solid, smooth, dry, crack-free, and free of dust. For the challenges posed by uneven, rough, dusty, or non-absorbent substrates, a pre-treatment regimen with LG180 Substrate Hardener or LG670 Non-Absorbent Interface Agent is recommended, safeguarding against the risks of substrate debonding.
Installation Instructions
For impeccable wood flooring installation, utilize a B11 notched trowel, specifically designed for wood flooring adhesive application. It's prudent to replace the notched bar every 100 square meters to maintain precision. The open time should be determined thoughtfully, taking into account the adhesive volume, prevailing climatic conditions, and the substrate's absorption rate. The adhesive reaches readiness when it begins to form strings, signaling its optimum bonding state.
When it comes to wet bonding of SPC, WPC, and LVT flooring, the use of a B1 notched trowel is recommended. Consistency is key, so replace the notched bar every 100 square meters. Flooring installation should commence as the adhesive begins to form strings, ensuring seamless adhesion to the floor and effective transfer to the flooring's back. As part of the installation protocol, roll the entire surface with a roller, employing a cork board to press edges and corners. This ensures a completely flat, uniform surface, allowing for comprehensive bonding. A second roll after 20 minutes reinforces this bond. Adherence to Lan Guan's technical instructions is essential for superior results.
