The K50 compound allows for an application thickness ranging from 2mm to 5mm in a single coat, accommodating various project requirements.
1. Thoroughly eliminate oil stains, dust, loose debris, and outdated coatings from the surface.
2. Smooth out uneven surfaces by grinding away loose concrete and debris, followed by vacuuming to clear all loose particles and dust.
3. Ensure the base is dry, clean, and free of any standing water.
4. For absorbent substrates, deploy LG660 water-based absorbent interface treatment agent; for non-absorbent substrates, employ LG670 non-absorbent interface agent for optimal results.
The optimal water to mortar ratio is set at 26% to guarantee the ideal consistency and performance.
1. Once the base is meticulously cleaned, select the suitable primer. Allow the primer to be absorbed and begin drying (approximately 2-6 hours post-application) before commencing the self-leveling pre-work.
2. Introduce approximately 6 liters of clean water into a container, gradually incorporating a 25-kilogram bag of the self-leveling compound. Mix thoroughly with a mixer until smooth and lump-free. Distribute the blended material evenly, using a specialized notched trowel for precise thickness control. Shield the freshly prepared material from direct sunlight and strong winds, completing the mixing and application within 10 minutes.
3. Before the compound sets, utilize a defoaming roller to eliminate any entrapped air bubbles. Note: A pump delivering 20-40 liters per minute can efficiently transport the self-leveling slurry.
TRANSPORTATION
Store in an arid, ventilated, and cool environment, away from direct sun exposure and humidity. With proper sealing, the compound maintains a shelf life of up to 6 months.
During transportation, ensure careful handling to prevent collisions and compressions, safeguarding the integrity of the packaging.
