This versatile adhesive is ideal for wet-bond, pressure-sensitive applications on pre-treated absorbent substrates, offering a seamless solution. Furthermore, it excels as a gap-filling and pressure-sensitive adhesive for non-absorbent substrates or existing flooring, providing a reliable bond where needed.
When applying to non-absorbent substrates, the flooring installation can commence 20-50 minutes post-adhesive application, ensuring flexibility and performance. This adhesive ensures enduring adhesion, remarkable peel and shear strength, with swift curing and heightened curing strength. Your substrate should be solid, smooth, dry, crack-free, and devoid of dust. For uneven, rough, dusty, or non-absorbent substrates, pre-treatment with LG180 Substrate Hardener or LG670 Non-Absorbent Interface Agent is advised to avert substrate debonding, ensuring a flawless finish.
Installation Instructions
For optimal wood flooring installation, utilize a B11 notched trowel, crafted specifically for wood flooring adhesive. Remember to replace the notched bar every 100 square meters to maintain efficiency. The open time should be tailored to the adhesive quantity, current climate conditions, and substrate absorption rate. The adhesive reaches readiness when it begins to form strings, indicating the perfect moment to proceed.
This adhesive is also highly effective for wet bonding SPC, WPC, and LVT floors. Use a B1 notched trowel, ensuring the notched bar is replaced every 100 square meters. Commence flooring installation once the adhesive strings, ensuring optimal adhesion and transfer to the back of the flooring. When laying down the flooring, thoroughly roll the entire installed surface with a roller, using a cork board to press firmly along edges and corners. Guarantee the entire installed surface is uniformly pressed, eliminating any dead spots to ensure comprehensive bonding with the adhesive. After 20 minutes, repeat the rolling process to fortify the bond. Adhering to the technical instructions provided by Lan Guan will ensure superior results.
